West Highland Scottish Terrier
The West Highland White Terrier, often known as the Westie, is an entertaining, amiable, and self-assured breed that will keep his owners occupied for hours. This unique tiny white terrier usually weighs 15 to 20 pounds and is 10 to 11 inches tall. These little terriers, who were once developed in Scotland to hunt mice, are now satisfied to be devoted family pets, but that doesn’t mean they can spend all day lounging about the home. Â
The active West Highland Scottish Terrier is always eager to play or snuggle with his loved ones. As with any breed, early socialization and care are essential, but this loving breed is often tolerant and kind with small children. Order now
The West Highland White Terrier frequently has a high hunting drive and will chase almost any little animal he sees if he’s not on a leash because of his history as a rodent hunter. Although Westies may get along with cats when introduced appropriately, this might make cohabitation with smaller animals—like rabbits or hamsters—difficult.
